The story of The Calm and Cozy Corner began when its founder, Julie, created a calm corner for her child who was having trouble coping with the harsh demands of the outside world. It was filled with soft pillows and blankets, glowing lights, positive affirmations and aromatherapy.
Julie also struggles with anxiety and it took a while for her to realize that being introverted and occasionally anti-social is perfectly okay. The products in the Calm and Cozy Corner are meant to bring calm and positivity to their owner but to also poke a little fun at us socially avoidant types.
Whether you struggle with anxiety or depression, or have loved one that does, know that you’re not alone.
Every year 5% of The Calm and Cozy Corner profits will be donated to Mental Health America.
